Tynisha Keli (pronounced Tih-NEE-sha Kel-LEE)(born Tynisha Keli Soares on July 28, 1985 in New Bedford, Massachusetts) is an R&B/Pop artist.

Keli is of Portuguese descent. She came from a very poverty stricken home and struggled most of her life. She then came to Los Angeles at the age of 14, having no friends nor family. She had always wanted to become a singer and be recognized anywhere she goes. She is currently planning to release her debut album, "Even If It Takes Forever" due sometime in 2008. Before becoming a solo artist, Keli was in a girl group called Gyrlz Society but was disbanded before dropping their debut album. Their only single was "Respect Me" which was released in 2002.

Some of her influences include Faith Evans, Brandy Norwood, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, New Edition,Aaliyah and Lauren Hill.

It has been confirmed by Tynisha Keli on her Youtube Account "tynishavideos" that her first single is " I Wish You Loved Me". The single had debut on radio stations in the U.S. on July 10, 2007. Tynisha will also be filming a music video for this song and releasing it world wide sometime in 2008.

Tynisha paired up with Eventful.com to hold a contest to see which city has the most demands for Tynisha and her "I Wish" tour. She will start her tour with at the city with the most demands, and the top five cities with the most demands will be added to her tour. The top five winning cities are Chicago, New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Syracuse[1].
