Tymora is the Goddess of Good Fortune in the fictional world of Toril, in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. Ed Greenwood created Tymora for his home Dungeons & Dragons game, loosely inspired by the Greek deity Tyche.
Tymora is a sister to Beshaba, the goddess of misfortune, having been created when Tyche, the former deity of luck, was infected by Moander's evil essence, and split apart by Selûne. She is commonly revered by adventurers and others who rely on a mixture of luck and skill to achieve their goals. She is also a known ally of the demipower Finder Wyvernspur[citation needed].

Orders
- Fellows of Free Fate
A special fellowship of clergy within the church of Tymora, the Fellows of Free Fate (or Triffs, as they are colloquially known), have dedicated themselves to countering the efforts of Beshaba, and especially of the Black Fingers, her assassins. Any clergy member may join who shows experience, dedication to the cause, and is vouched for by a senior Fellow[original research?].
Rewards and Punishments
Tymora shines upon those who take risks, and aids others who take risks. She blesses those who deal harshly with the followers of Beshaba. She rolls the dice against those who flee from the followers of Beshaba and defile the dead[original research?].
