Tyler Plante (born April 16, 1986 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an American ice hockey goaltender. He was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the second round, 32nd overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

Plante has played the last three seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League. In the 2004-05 season, he was awarded the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy as the top rookie in the WHL. As of September 21, 2007, he has been assigned to the Florida Panthers' ECHL affiliate, the Florida Everblades.

Plante was born in Milwaukee while his father Cam was a member of the Milwaukee Admirals. His brother Alex Plante was a first round draft pick of the Edmonton Oilers. Tyler grew up in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.
