Tyler Farrar (born 2 June 1984 in Wenatchee, Washington) is an American professional road racing cyclist since 2003. He started racing at the age of 13. In April of 2006, Farrar suffered a crash near the finish of the Circuit de la Sarthe that led to a broken clavicle, and missing much of the season while on his new team, Cofidis. He rides for the Slipstream Chipotle presented by H30 cycling team. Farrar won the Yellow Jersey in the 2008 Tour of California after stage 2 after winning bonus points at intermediate sprints during the stage.
