Kenneth Tyler Anderson (born August 26, 1987) is the bassist of the Kentucky based indie rock band waketheday. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky son of Mark and Tina Anderson. He currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky.

He graduated from Bullitt Central High School of Shepherdsville, KY in 2005. He is the third oldest member of waketheday at 20. Prior to playing bass with waketheday, he was the lead guitarist of his high school project, Kujo & The Kool-Aid Kids[1]; formed as a talent show entry in 2003 alongside of close friend, Chris Jackson, who now fronts his current band. Tyler is the first replacement to enter waktheday. [2] Among Anderson's musical influences are Garth Brooks and Stevie Wonder. He has been playing guitar since the 8th grade, but switched to playing bass guitar after filling in as the bassist for waketheday.

Tyler Anderson is noted for using all Fender Amplifiers and Basses as of 2006. His current rig is a vintage 1967 silver-face Fender Bassman 100 with matching GT-6L6-GE Gold Tubes ran independently through a matching 4X12 Fender cabinet. His current bass is an American Fender Jazz Bass. Currently a KORG rack tuner and a Sans-Amp DI driver are used in his rack unit.

In early 2006, Tyler was hired on as an image intern at Zappos.com[3]Working among graphic designers and photographers, he was able to pick up these trades and implement them into his own band. Most shirt designs, logos and artwork with waketheday were all created by Tyler[4]. He volunteers as FOH sound engineer at Okolona Christian Church in Okolona, KY and also plays worship when he is needed.
