I deleted the reference to the "Additional Views" portion regarding the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence report. These "Additional Views" are by avowedly partisan Republican Senators who have not given Mr.Drumheller the chance to explain the "discrepancies". A look through Hubris (pg. 350-351) by Michael Isikoff and David Corn indicate that it was Mr.Drumheller who actually submitted several paragraphs on the Sabri operation for Tenet's speech, but Tenet and his speechwriters changed the language to inflate what Sabri actually said. In Mr.Drumheller's words, Tenet was "spinning" what Sabri actually said. I do not think that whoever inserted this was operating from a NPOV, and I believe it is a surreptitious attempt to cast Mr.Drumheller in a negative light without proper context.
Also, why Mr.Drumheller's poltical contributions should be of any interest reeks of partisan vandalism.
