- Don Quijote (I prefer the Spanish spelling)

- All Things Spain (especially Salamanca and Catilla-Leon)

- Babylon 5 and the historical, artistic, religious and literary references throughout the series

- other such influences throughout Science Fiction (mostly Star Trek)

- Religious History (espcially Gnosticism)

- Ancient History

Plus whatever passes my fancy ( I have ADD so who knows what directions that could lead. )
