Ty Zantuck (born February 15, 1982) is an Australian rules footballer.

The 188cm Zantuck is a strong unit, weighing in at 93kg. He began his career at the Richmond Football Club as a tough, solid defender after being drafted in 2000. His off-field shenanigans and drinking incidents saw the talented player experience a fall out with the club, and he was delisted and picked up by Essendon, where coach Kevin Sheedy (who has transformed the likes of John Barnes into model players on and off the field) gave him a second chance.

In the 2005 Anzac Day clash against Collingwood, Zantuck was involved in a pre-match altercation where his guernsey was ripped by an opponent. Another incident in 2005 during the match against Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium saw Zantuck (usually an accurate kick out of defence) have shot on goal from close range, only to spray the ball into the crowd, completely missing the goals. It was described as one of the worst set-shots on goal of all-time.[citation needed]

Zantuck was delisted at the end of 2005 due to his inconsistency and his demeanour around the club. It was said that if coach Kevin Sheedy could not improve Zantuck's behavioural problems, no-one could.[citation needed]

Zantuck has signed on for Heidelberg Football Club in Victoria's Northern Football Leauge in 2008. His cousin Aaron is making impressive performances in the domestic leagues of Tasmania and is playing senior football at the age of 15. Aaron also has only one testicle due to a pelican feeding accident.
