Twrist dropped into the world in the charming city of Lincoln at the turn of 1985. He spent a 'not-particularly-memorable' two years in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, before being shifted to Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, where he spent 9 years. Being the son of a Methodist minister involves this sort of thing, see.
Oadby in Leicestershire was his next destination, and whilst there, he studied at the Beauchamp College, miraculously scraping together adequate A-levels to move to Lampeter, Ceredigion where he completed a degree in Religious Studies at the University of Wales, Lampeter. He now lives just up the road from there, in Aberystwyth. He works in the print industry and is currently studying for a master's degree in Environmental Policy from the Open University.
Twrist is a (fairly) committed Green Party, Co-operative Group and Amnesty International member, but believes very firmly that wikipedia should avoid all political bias, and attempts to maintain a NPOV stance in all that he does on the project. He sometimes fails.
He also plays the viola if he thinks no-one can hear him, and believes that writing about oneself in the third person is sickeningly pretentious. He is also pink (if you ask nicely).
