[edit] Repost of The Garden of Earthly Delights in popular culture

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on The Garden of Earthly Delights in popular culture, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because The Garden of Earthly Delights in popular culture was previously deleted as a result of an articles for deletion (or another XfD)

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting The Garden of Earthly Delights in popular culture, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Black-figure pottery

Just leaving a note of appreciation for all your work on the black-figure pottery article -- terrific job taking it from a minimal backgrounder into an extensive treatment. Hopefully, it'll attract more people who know what they're talking about (which excludes me immediately) and are interested in contributing. Best, -- Docether 13:50, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Red-figure pottery

Hi. Thanks for your reference-checking on the extended (translated) red-figure pottery article. I don't currently have the time, otherwise I would have tried to check the original English version of Boardman myself, as it's obviously preferable to quote from that, rather than from a translation. As to that dodgy reference you point out, I'll see if I can find a better source when I'm at the BSA next. By the way, I am told that the person who is mostly responsible for the German original of the red-figure article is probably going to write a similarly extensive one on Black-figure pottery some time next year. I have seen that you have turned the English version of that topic from a stub in to a reasonable summary lately, but I'd be happy to extend it by translation whenever there's something available to translate from. I presume you wouldn't mind? In the same vein, are there any articles here, here, here or indeed here that merit rapid translation in your opinion? I basically translate articles for relaxation and to keep my language skills going, so do let me know... athinaios (talk) 12:48, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Darius

I don't think I did - I just moved the pics so the text is more than 3 words per line. Johnbod (talk) 20:02, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Sorry - it seems I did - I must have edited the older version by accident. Apologies. Johnbod (talk) 20:24, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Pen eni1.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Pen eni1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 15:38, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hans P. Kraus

FYI - I posted an article on Hans P. Kraus. I thought you might be interested since you made a suggestion on the Thomas Phillipps page that there should be an article about Kraus. Any corrections or additions would be appreciated. FarleyKatz (talk) 10:34, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the excellent edits. I'll come back in a while and do some clean up. The highest numbered catalog I have is 218, England/Ireland/Scotland/Wales, but I'm not sure that's the last one. I edited the article accordingly. FarleyKatz (talk) 20:23, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
