Twin City (Bratislava)

Twin City is the name of the biggest multifunction building complex in Central Europe which is to start in Bratislava in 2008. Twin City is located on the border of the Old Town and Ružinov districts. Gross investment about 17 billion Slovak koruna (more than € 500 million) also makes it the biggest developer project in Central and Eastern Europe.
A 34-floor high-rise building with triangular ground plan will be the dominant object of the complex (138 meters in height). The original study assumed 42 floors and 170 meters height but the change was incorporated after public negotiations. A new central bus station will be a part of the complex.
Opening is planned on 2011.
