[edit] Request

There is a picture I wish to be taken for a popular article, so are you currently residing in Japan? « ₣M₣ » 21:19, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

I have posted and fixed the information about the details on my talk page. Let me know if you're able or unable to do this. « ₣M₣ » 18:43, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Ha, that's why its difficult! Takadanobaba, Tokyo, Japan really is a big area isn't it? Certainly someone over there would know. This isn't to say I haven't tried to find the exact location, but there is only so much I can do in another country. I'm still searching... « ₣M₣ » 15:58, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Extraneous links on disambiguation pages

Hi—I'm sure all the links you added recently to disambiguation pages, e.g., Black Sunday, were well-intentioned, but I'm afraid they need to be reverted. Typically, we encourage rich linking between articles, but disambiguation pages are not articles, they are navigation. The Manual of Style indicates that each entry in a disambiguation page should have only a single link, to the target page. The idea is that readers trying to find a particular Black Sunday, for instance, can quickly determine what article to jump to. If you can't revert the link additions, I'll get to it eventually. —johndburger 23:43, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ethnic categories

Per WP:V, ethnic categories need to be sourced just like anything else. Showing that the person's parents (or whatever) belonged to a specific ethnicity is not enough. Hope that makes clear why I have been removing those which are unsourced. If you want to restore them, I need to see reliable sources relating to the subject themselves. See also WP:NOR. Best wishes, --John (talk) 16:39, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
