[edit] Sources for Consolidated Freightways
Hello, good work on Consolidated Freightways, and thanks for the contribution. However, you forgot to add any references to the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. What websites, books, or other places did you learn the information that you added to Consolidated Freightways? Would it be possible for you to mention them in the article? Thank you very much. - SimonP 04:48, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
- Got the links taken care of, and I do not know much about the history of CF, but I do have 2 HO scale trailers that have the CF logo on them. TVSRR 06:19, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Railroad Pictures 022.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Railroad Pictures 022.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Stan 04:42, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
- will get that taken care of ASAP TVSRR 04:45, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Ontario Motor Speedway.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ontario Motor Speedway.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:05, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Joe Engel
I would recommend starting a new article on Joe Engel instead of adding the same information about him multiple times to any article related to him. The article on Joe Engel Stadium needs to be about Joe Engel Stadium, not about Joe Engel. Also, using exclamation points to describe external links is usually not appropriate for an encyclopedia. If you need any help just let me know. Hatch68 15:30, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- I do not know much about Joe Engel, I only went to the stadium 2 times in 1999 and when clicking on someone's name will redirect to someone that was either a football player or something else. Just adding my two cents. TVSRR 03:11, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Eastgate Mall
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Eastgate Mall, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Eastgate Mall. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Railfantag.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Railfantag.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] State license plate IFD
Hi. A number of state license plates, including one or more that you uploaded, have been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion/2007 May 2#All state license plates. A photograph of a copyrighted work, such as a license plate, is considered a derivative work and cannot be used freely. Please see the discussion if you would like to participate. [edit] Possibly unfree Image:RIRLogo.jpg
An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:RIRLogo.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. After Midnight 0001 00:54, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- I have made the required changes to the item in question and found the correct template TVSRR (talk) 02:45, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
-
- Good, that helps. You should also place a non-free usage rationale on the image, so that no one attempts to delete it via WP:CSD#I6. You may want to check out Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline for additional details. --After Midnight 0001 15:08, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Moreno Valley Mall
I have nominated Moreno Valley Mall, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Moreno Valley Mall. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. [edit] Youtube link
Per WP:EL, the external links guideline, you should not add links to external videos that are copyright violations. The youtube link that you added to Johnny Beauchamp is copyrighted video from SPEED. The only way that you could legally link to it is if SPEED or their owner posted the video on youtube. Royalbroil 05:46, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- That video was uploaded on 2-11-08 by someone else on youtube and not SPEED or anyone else, since it deals with both Lee Petty's and Beauchamp's final race at Daytona in 1961. Sorry :( TVSRR (talk) 00:43, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Omsl72.gif
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Omsl72.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 20:53, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Two Circuits
Hello, TVSRR. The Ontario Motor Speedway map looks great. Could you do a map for Durban street circuit and Heartland Park Topeka? Heartland Park Topeka has four configurations. Thank you. Fclass (talk) 15:24, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
