[edit] Welcome

Hi and welcome to wikipedia. I hope you like it and decide to stay. Here are some handy links for newcomers.

Also you can sign your name on talk pages and vote pages with three tildes like this ~~~, and your name with a time stamp with four like this ~~~~. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. Father Howabout1 Talk to me! 18:17, August 12, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] DHMO

Nothing personal, but the joke you added to Dihydrogen monoxide hoax didn't add anything new, so I removed it. And just a note: you don't need to sign additions in articles, which are considered to be a sort of group effort; if people want to know who made a particular change, they can check the History. But, of course, we *should* sign our comments on Talk pages, as I am about to do! - DavidWBrooks 15:02, 15 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] DHMO2

Ok, thanks I see your point. TVR Enthusiast

[edit] DiceScape

No offense, but the DiceScape article was already voted for deletion. There is no need to create it again. When you do get published, you can start a proper article. But re-posting a non-published game is likely to start an edit war. Allegrorondo 20:47, 29 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Ice-9

The real existance of a a form of Ice-9 stable at surface pressure and temperature is not factual. if you knew this, this is a hoax and vandalism. if you didn't know this, you need to verify facts more carefully before puttign them into wikipedia articles. Ice-9 has been nominated for deletion. I have rewritten it to refer only to the fictional Ice-9, and it may survive as an article in that form. DES (talk) 23:38, 9 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] New articles

Please do not create new articles that have no content (I mean the articles with just an external link). bogdan 15:16, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of OtakuOmaha

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on OtakuOmaha, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because OtakuOmaha seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting OtakuOmaha, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] AfD nomination of OtakuOmaha

An editor has nominated OtakuOmaha, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/OtakuOmaha and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 00:59, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
