TVonics is a electronics company. Founded in Wales, UK in 2004, it manufactures set-top boxes and digital video recorders.
Founded in 2004, TVonics Ltd is one of the few set-top box design houses that manufacturers in the UK at it's headquarters at the Sony manufacturing site in Pencoed, Wales. The company initially entered the market with the PRISM set-top box under the TVonics and Ferguson brand. Since then several additional products have been released under the TVonics brand including the MDR-200, DVR-250 and DVR-FP250. TVonics also manufacturers products under other brands for major UK retailers.
In November, 2007 TVonics was awarded the IET Start-up of the Year award.
