[edit] Edit attribution

Hi Tvleavitt. Yes and no. Please see Wikipedia:Changing attribution for an edit for more information. -- Longhair | Talk 03:26, 16 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Green Party link

Did you mean to link Lavender Greens to Green Party of the United States rather than Green Party (United States)?

Thanks. I changed the link. --Tvleavitt

I've used this as an example in the debate on whether to merge these pages, at Talk:Green_Party_(United_States)#Merge.3F. Feel free to drop in and add your two cents. --65.28.237.180 21:57, 21 August 2005 (UTC)

Thanks. I posted a comment on the talk page. --Tvleavitt

[edit] Green Party of the United States, page move vote

Regarding the discussion at Talk:Green Party (United States)#Merge?, I have suggested a move. Please see Talk:Green Party of the United States, and consider voting. --65.28.237.180 03:51, 8 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Stuart parker.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Stuart parker.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Chowbok 21:39, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Hermione Gingold.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Hermione Gingold.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Rossrs 00:19, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Jason Jones (politician)

A tag has been placed on Jason Jones (politician), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. GreenJoe 01:26, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
