[edit] Usage

usage: {{tv.com show | id=xxxxx | title=Show Name}}

  1. Find the page on tv.com.
  2. The URI should look something like this: http://www.tv.com/buffy-the-vampire-slayer/show/10/summary.html
  3. (or possibly this: http://www.tv.com/buffy-the-vampire-slayer/show/10/summary.html?q=Buffy).
  4. The number in bold is the show ID.
  5. The title should be the text you want the link to display.

Thus:

{{tv.com show | id=10 | title=Buffy The Vampire Slayer}}

yields:

Buffy The Vampire Slayer at TV.com

[edit] Requested move

Template:Tvtome showTemplate:tv.com show — Tvtome has been gone for 2 years now and replaced with tv.com. It wasn't renamed at the time, because there wasn't really a need to do so, and no one wanted to bother doing the work i guess. However I think it's time to actually rename that template, even though it's not very problematic. We can't keep calling it like this for ever, and renaming it later will only make it more difficult. A person with a bot who can actually rename all the usages of the template might be handy. TheDJ (talkcontribsWikiProject Television) 21:19, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
