TV1 is a general entertainment channel available on Australia's Foxtel, Austar and Optus Television pay television services. It launched as part of the original Galaxy lineup.

The channel is jointly owned by Sony International Television, Universal Studios and Paramount. The channel shows numerous sitcoms, dramas, movies and other programming. It refers to itself as 'Television's Greatest Hits'. TV1 also produces original comedy programs including the new program Stupid Stupid Man.

TV1 also operates the Australian Sci Fi Channel.
