You seem to be very knowledgeable about old clocks, and I would be interested to know if there are any references to the information you added - On-line info is good, but other published sources would be good too? Sorry there is nothing authoritive published that I think is worth referring to. There is a site www.turretclocks.com which you might find interesting.
