Reversion

Hi and thank you for reverting my page to its state before the visit of our rather odd co-editor. (No need to reply, unless of course you particularly want to.) -- Hoary 07:30, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism patrol

Hey, thanks for helping out doing RC patrol, it's always needed. I noticed a note you left on a vandal's page and I wanted to make a couple suggestions. I suggest always adding subst to test templates (and other user talk templates like welcome messages). It helps if one of the templates gets vandalized, it's easier on the servers, and it makes it seem less templat-ey if they look in the edit window. Perhaps more controversially, I'd also suggest going up in sequence through the test templates, rather than skipping to test 4 after a test 2 (the edit I noticed [1]). While not everyone does this, it is encouraged. It makes it easier to block the vandal, since it's clear that they've received the full set of warnings. Also, theres a chance that the vandal will desist after a few warnings. It's also easier for the next person if you go in order (e.g. if someone leaves a t3 for the first message, do I leave a t4 for the second? Go back to t2?). Anyway, you can do with this advice what you want, I just thought I'd let you know my thoughts on it. Hopefully I haven't been too annoying by leaving you bossy messages as my introduction to you! Let me know on my talk page if you have any questions or want to discuss anything. Thanks again for doing RC patrol! Peace, delldot | talk 17:11, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for taking notice in my work. I appreciate the bluntness in your feedback. The example you posted was one where the vandal received a test2, then a second page was added (implying test3), when I added the test4. I will careful in the future to not skip actual levels. I didn't know about the tricks for subst on the templates, so I will start using that immediately. Thanks again for the feedback. Turlo Lomon 04:29, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Well thanks for responding positively to the feedback. I can see you work well with others and are an asset to the project! Peace, delldot | talk 05:04, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

RC Patrol

Hi. You reverted some vandalism to Tramp but sadly reverted to an already vandalised article. I've removed that as well. Not a crticism, just something to watch out for. Thanks for your hard work on recent change patrol Keep it up!Pedro1999a |  Talk  11:56, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

LOL. OMG. I read what you reverted. I didn't realize that other user was also having a "conversation" at the same time. Thanks for watching my back. Turlo Lomon 11:58, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Your're welcome. I note we just got involved on the vandalism of Fraud as well!! I have reported the user for a block. Pedro1999a |  Talk  12:04, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Wild beasts vandilism from my account

Hi, you recently posted on my user page that I have vandilised the wild beasts, checked the page history and my account did vandalise the page - however it wasn't me hat did it!! At that precise time, i was tucked up in bed! Don't have a clue who's been using my account. Have you got any ideas of what I can do so people don't think I'm a vandal? I'm normally the one handing out the warnings to other people! Anyway, cheers for sorting it out RyanPostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or let's have banter 08:33, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Your message

I'm in the process of listing a bunch of IPs as sock puppets. Is this wrong? I'm following the directions and examples on the sock puppet page. Am I not supposed to be tagging each page? thanks Rossrs 09:03, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

You need to read the second part of my message. You made an error on one of the ones you did. It created a regular article instead of a user page. Turlo Lomon 09:05, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Yes, I see what you mean now. I didn't realize I missed the colon. Thanks for letting me know. cheers Rossrs 09:08, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

The Working Man's Barnstar
You tirelessly fight vandals and other bad edits. Despite the weary repetition of continually using reverts and tagging user pages appropriately, you never seem to tire of the task. Thank you for your efforts to keep Wikipedia in good order. Vassyana 11:11, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Speedy nominate of Glasgow gaels

Please consider waiting more than 2 minutes to nominate a page for speedy as new users can find it difficult to edit here and like to build the page up slowly (over 15 minutes ) (Gnevin 14:10, 23 March 2007 (UTC))

Thanks for your reply, you must be so busy you can't take 2 minutes , sorry in interrupt your nominating of good articles (Gnevin 21:21, 27 March 2007 (UTC))
I am not sure why this is/was an issue. The original article that I nominated consisted of a webpage link and an e-mail address. There was zero description of what Glasgow gaels is, and as such, definitely fell within the criteria for speedy deletion. Turlo Lomon 07:13, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Burnt Face Man

How can you delete a page on burnt face man on grounds of a personal attack? He is a fictional character and it is what happens in the animated cartoons. Are you a complete n00b or what? Maybe you should find out what some things are before you delete. retard. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jackthefag (talk • contribs) 10:08, 10 May 2007 (UTC).

Help

Could you help me undo all the edits SkiersBot (talk · contribs) made to the talk pages of all the D&D stubs? It's plastered the WikiProject Comics template onto them. -Jéské (v^_^v Kacheek!) 06:38, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Saw that. Give me a minute to add some references to the talk page on Isle of the Ape. I need to get them incorporated into the article. Turlo Lomon 06:42, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Approximately 75-80 left to go. What a mess. I am goingto take a break and get back to this. Turlo Lomon 07:23, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Alright. I let Skier know that his bot did this; his bot's currently on a 1-week all-expenses-paid vacation to BotBlockia. -Jéské (v^_^v Kacheek!) 07:40, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Second page done. 3rd page looks like it needs work up to T'Ralie-class transport‎. Taking a break again (at work atm). Turlo Lomon 10:20, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Done. Turlo Lomon 11:33, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Domino

I saw that you had the need to remove the text i added and started wining about me needing to play in the sandbox, The text was added because he was named after Alf, the cat eating alien. And if you would have seen the movie, you should know that Domino says: "This is the driver of our van, no one knows how to pronounce his fucking name so we call him the cat eating alien, Alf, because he ones ate a complete cat.". So feel free to go and play in your little sandbox. And if you feel the need to bother mee, do it on Dutch wikipedia. Primaxyes (talk) 18:15, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
