Turbinator 20:58, 8 November 2006 (UTC)You might not want to go around unilaterally changing "BC" to "BCE." This has been a contentious issue in the past. The current consensus is that since both are considered acceptable, they should be left as they've been. Hey Turbinator, just wanted to let you know, that the links which you added on the site of Hitlers Führerbunker do not show what you think they should show. The photos show the Fahrerbunker, not Führerbunker (in German there is no big difference between umlaut "ü" (ue) and "a", but the meaning is totally different). Please also read very carefully the comment (anyway, that's in german), which the site owner added after he had a phone call with Mr. Misch (the site owner does not make a big deal from the fact that he "accidentally" show photos from Fahrerbunker instead of Führerbunker). - Please also read the discussion area of Führerbunker, where I have left some more comments. The photos were not taken before 1993, and they have been published also in newspapers. The "Fuehrer Bunker" was located along the block of Wilhelm-street at the corner to Voss-street. In Voss-str. was located (with address at Vossstr. 6) the "Neue Reichskanzlei" (New Reich Chancellery, where Hitler had his office rooms). Below that building and below the buildings at the block of Wilhem-street at the corner to Voss-street, there are the remaining of the real "Fuehrer bunker". There are no parts left which can be visited anymore. The real "Fuehrer Bunker" was on the area of east-german democratic republic, just nearby the former wall. In the 1960er years government of east-german democratic republic decided to build houses for the "working class". On that occasion, main parts of the "Fuehrer bunker" were sealed, and in 1988 (one year before the fall of the Berlin wall) east-german government decided to remove the bunker (before they also tried that in the 1950er to remove the bunker, but they failed). In 1988, with advanced technology, all the ceilings of the bunker were removed at least and all core parts were filled with concrete and earth. The removement of the bunker was top secret when it was done in 1988, but an architect of east Germany involved with removement (his name is Erhard Schreier) documented this by making photos on his own. He published these photos later some years ago, because they are the only real photo documents, which show the Führerbunker on the occasion of its withdraw. Therefore, today no parts of the bunker can be visited or seen, because the bunker is gone. Some tourist guides in Berlin will tell you that there are still some remaining of the Führerbunker, for sure, but I guess they just want to keep the myth of the bunker upright or want to make you to pay attention of what the guide is talking about. That's why they tell you something about some bunkers in that area, but which they do confound (weather they do know it better or not) is the Fahrerbunker (note the "a" instead umlaut "ü" (ue). You need to know german language in some more details to know the difference between Fahrerbunker and Führerbunker. Also note: Spelling of Fahrerbunker or Führerbunker may sound very similar, especially for those tourists who do not understand german well..., and even some Germans have problems to understand the difference between Fahrerbunker and Führerbunker, those will and want never understand...). --145.254.56.61 21:33, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Programs that let me Export a wikipage in to HTML
There are many excellent programs for use on Wikipedia such as specialized editing tools, vandal snipers, admin tools and such. One that I have not found yet would be a Wikipage to HTML Page sort of program. Now I know what you are thinking, go to your web-browser menu bar, and open the View Page Source. Doing just that is semi useful. As there is tons of code to be cut out. I am looking for a program that would only extract the current page, not the header or the sidebar, or any edit options. Just the content page, and most importantly the pages formatting.
I just love how Wikipedia simplifies the HTML editing with beautiful wikiscripts, and trough my time editing here, I found this to be useful on so many levels. And I would love to be able to create my wikipedia pages and be able to export them to HTML. Any sutch programs out there? --Turbinator 20:39, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I don't know about a program, but if you select printable version from the toolbox on the left of the page, it gets rid of the headers and sidebar and such. You could get the source from that page. --Sopoforic 20:42, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

When I upload photos to the site and put the promo template on the picture page, it says on the thing that you must present proof about the photos. I guess it means, that it is infact a promo. My first question is how do I prove it? Second question is, when I put photos galleries on a page, I want to move it to the right, but it stays to the left. How do I make a gallery move to the right? - To answer your first question, did you upload the picture at the wikicommons, http://commons.wikimedia.org. During the process of uploading the picture at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Upload in the summary field or after you upload the picture, go to it's page and edit it. You enter the following;

|Permission =

- Then you fill in the spaces after the equals (=) sign, in the Permission field, you enter the text and a link to the website where it would describe the promotion status of the picture. I will investigate on your second question and report back shortly. --Turbinator 17:21, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

- You don't have to upload it to wikicommons, it is fine where it is, the wikicommons is there so that it can serve all the wikie's, on all languages and topics. When an image is not on the commons then only the wiki to witch it is uploaded to can use it. That is the only difference. --Turbinator 18:07, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I noticed that you are a member of the Space missions WikiProject. A couple of weeks ago, I proposed that the Space missions and Space travellers projects, which both appear to be inactive be merged into the Human Spaceflight project. Whilst this is being done, the capitalisation of the Human spaceflight project's title would also be corrected (ie. Human Spaceflight → Human spaceflight). The projects are all doing the same/very similar things, and in my opinion, a single, larger, project would be more effective than three smaller, and somewhat inactive projects.. In light of very little response to messages on the project talk pages, I am now sending this message to all members of all three projects, inviting them to discuss the proposal on the Human Spaceflight project's talk page.
