Turvey Abbey
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Turvey Abbey is a country house in the village of Turvey in the English county of Bedfordshire. It is dated 1605 on the north facade and 1608 on the south facade.
Historically Turvey Abbey was a family home, but it now has a use that matches its name, as it belongs to the 'Priory of Our Lady of Peace' a Benedictine order of nuns as well as the monks of the 'Monastery of Christ our Saviour'.
