Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out

"Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out" was the biggest hit single for Norman Cook's dance-jazz group Freak Power, released in 1993 as a single. The song features a smooth jazz sound and the charming baritone of lead singer Jesse Graham. The single wasn't very well-received, at least not commercially, only making number 29 in the UK.
However, two years later, the song was used in the popular Levi's advertisement "Taxi" and re-released in early 1995. This time, the single was a huge success, reaching number 3 on the UK Singles Chart and was the only hit single for the group, but they still reached the Top 30 one more time in 1998.
