Turmion Kätilöt (Literally ”Midwives of Destruction” or ”Midwives of Perdition”) is a Finnish industrial metal band founded in 2003 by MC Raaka Pee and DJ Vastapallo. The band has six members: Raaka Pee, Vastapallo, Spellgoth (who is also the lead vocalist of Trollheim's Grott, a Finnish industrial/black metal band), Master Bates, RunQ (Janne Tolsa of Tarot and Eternal Tears of Sorrow) and DQ. DJ Vastapallo and MC Raaka P actually do the music together, rest of the band play just in liveshows.

The band has a recording contract with Spinefarm Records (specifically Ranka Recordings), and their second full-length album was released on March 29th, 2006. At the moment the band is having troubles with Spinefarm Records regarding the income of their albums, meanwhile fans are already anxious for their new full length album. Due to the rival between the band and the record company Turmion Kätilöt has filed a lawsuit against Spinefarm Records. Despite the issues, a new album, Usch!, is set to be released on 11th June 2008. A new single, Minä määrään ("I Rule" or "I Command"), has been digitally released for free before the album, on May 21.

"Mistä veri pakenee" has also featured a local band known as "Killzone", for the album release.

The song "Verta ja lihaa" is featured on a popular flash animation on the Internet known as "Bunnykill."
