Turman Township is one of nine townships in Sullivan County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 1,082.

Turman Township covers an area of 57.34 square miles and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains six cemeteries: Alkire, Burton, Island, Johnson, Mann and Poplar.
