Turkmenchay (Persian: ترکمنچای - Torkmancāy; Azerbaijani: Türkmənçay; also written as Turkmanchai, Turkemanchay, Turkomanchay, Turkmānchāi, Torkamān Chāy, Torkamānchāi, or Turcoman Chie) is a village in the East Azerbaijan province of Iran. A suburb of Mianeh, it is well-known for the Treaty of Turkmenchay of 1828, which concluded the last Russo-Persian War.
