There are a total of 24 teams participating in the league in two groups (A, B) for the TBL2 2007-2008 season. Each team play each other in their group twice during the regular season.
8 teams from every group qualify for the play-offs and they play the other group teams in a 2-game win mode (such as A1-B8, A2-B7, etc.). The last four teams qualify for the Final Four and they play each other once in a earlier decided city. The first two teams are promoted to the Turkish Basketball First League for the next season.
