Turkeye

Turkeye is a village of Sluis, a municipality located in the west of Zeelandic Flanders, in the south-western part of the Netherlands. Even though the inhabitants of the village are Dutch, the name Turkeye means Turkiye (Turkey in Turkish). It derives from relations between the Ottoman Turkey and the Netherlands. Its coordinates are 51°19′N, 3°35′E. The name of the road to this village is Turkijeweg which means Turkeyway in Dutch.
