Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999

For the Eurovision Song Contest 1999, Turkey entered Dön artik, performed by Tuba Önal and Mistik. The song received 21 points, and finished 16th.
On March 12, the Turkish final was held at the TRT studios in Ankara, and was hosted by Ömer Önder & Gülsah Banda. There were 10 songs in the final, with the winning song chosen by an expert jury.
The songs were:
- 1: Birak beni - Sedat Yüce
- 2: Dön artik - Tuba Önal & Mistik
- 3: Vazgeçme - Meltem Büyükugurgör
- 4: Kolay mi birakmak - Volkan Eröz
- 5: Neredesin - Kaan Yalçin
- 6: Selam sana toprak ana - Sibel Mirkelam
- 7: Hayda el ele - Birsen Tezer
- 8: Döne döne - Neslihan Demirtas
- 9: Unuttugumu sandigim anda - Feryal Basel
- 10: Her nefeste - Group M-B (Menent Savas & Berk Ozbek)
It was the fourth time that Tuba Önal entered the Turkish heats, following her entries in 1992, 1993 and 1997. Sedat Yüce would later represent the country in 2001.
