Turfway Park Fall Championship

Turfway Park Fall Championship is a Grade III event for three-year-olds and up, run at Turfway Park in Kentucky most every year since 1919 except 1972, and a long break from 1934 to 1963. Raced over a mile course on the dirt, it offers a purse of $100,000.

Sun Beau won this race in 1928. The great jockeys George Woolf rode Gallant Sir to victory in 1932 and Earl Sande rode King Nadi home in 1925.
