Tura River

Tura River (Russian: Тура́), also known as Dolgaya River (Long River), Russian: Долгая) is a river in the Sverdlovsk Oblast and Tyumen Oblast in Russia. It is a left tributary of Tobol. The length of the river is 1030 km. The area of its drainage basin is 80,400 sq km.
The Tura River is navigable within 753 km from its estuary. It freezes up in late October - November and stays under the ice until April - first half of May.
Its main tributaries are the Salda, Tagil, Nitsa, Pyshma.
The cities of Verkhnyaya Tura, Nizhnyaya Tura, Verkhoturye, Turinsk and Tyumen are located on the Tura River.
