Talk:Turra' Coo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The article refers to it as a 'legend'. Is it legend or historical? RJFJR (talk) 16:04, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Where does the apostrophe go? Turra' Coo or Turra Coo'? RJFJR (talk) 16:04, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- Good point, since they're different in the article title and lead! I'd suggest after "Turra", since that's a corruption of Turriff, whereas "coo" is simply a Scots way of saying "cow", but this is just a guess really in the absence of a reference: I note that the external link provided is currently failing. – Kieran T (talk) 16:23, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
