When used in the twelve bar blues the twelveth bar may be on the dominant rather than the tonic (ibid).

Ignoring the misspelled word for the moment, what is the meaning of this sentence? All of the examples end on the dominant (the parenthesized tonic being the start of the next chorus). This apparent exception being made for blues makes no sense. —Wahoofive (talk) 17:42, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
