[edit] Factual accuracy of this article
It say’s in this article that
Turkish Stars fly with 8 Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighters, making them one of the few national aerobatics teams to fly supersonic aircraft and the only one worldwide with 8 supersonic jets.
and also on Turkish Air Force article it say's under one of the pictures that
Turkish Stars is the world's only aerobatics team with 8 supersonic jets
The Turkish Stars might be one of the few aerobatics team to fly supersonic jets, but they are not the world's only aerobatics team with 8 supersonic jets. 71.222.72.36 08:30, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Other aerobatic teams with more than 8 supersonic jets.
- Blue Angels with 12 F/A-18 Hornet
- Red Arrows with 12 BAE Hawk
- U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds with 12 F-16
- Basic English&basic mathematic is enough to understand. 12 is not mean 8. And in article there is no any statement that Turkish stars is only one team with more than 7 flight. Is it ok.?Must.T C 13:52, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
He thought it was "bragging" - LOL :)
Every country decides to fly a number. Some fly with 7, some with 8, some with 9, others with 10, 12, etc.
Turkish Stars is the only one which flies with 8 supersonic jets. Their formations are based on 8 jets.
