[edit] History
Dan, Tyler, Steve, and Greg were originally together, but had found Matt performing solo. Matt then decided to join the band which was later named "Tupelo Honey". The name "Tupelo Honey" came from the song of the same title by Van Morrison, and is Matt's father's favorite song.
In 2005, they won Canadian Music Week's Xtreme Band Slam competition.[1]
