Tunnel Beach is a beach to the southwest of Dunedin, New Zealand. Beyond the beauty of the rugged cliffs, its claim to fame is the tunnel down to the actual beach that a local politician, John Cargill, a son of Captain William Cargill, had had built in the 1870s for his family.[1]
