Tundla is located at 27.2° N 78.28° E[1]. It has an average elevation of 168 metres (551 feet). Tundla is 24 km away from the city of Taj, AGRA. Moreover Tundla is having a rich heritage of British rule, high walled British constructions, huge Barracks, Catholic church built in 1887, kothis of officers surrounded by sprawling lawns ,displays TUNDLA as the main center of British during there regime and world war I,II. Tundla is a small town with very rich culture. It is enriched with old and beautiful british buildings which are now converted into railway quarters.

As of 2001 India census[1], Tundla had a population of 40,336. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Tundla has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 78%, and female literacy is 66%. In Tundla, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Colonel Tundrox & Civil engineer Raphael C of East India railway built a challenging railway track midst of a jungle surrounded by crocodiles, panthers, Leopards surpassing Jamuna river in next 26 km, earlier he planned to cross yamuna 11 km ahead ( presently anwara) and go parallel to yamuna till Taj. 5. Bharra ( It was suppose to be a reason why tundla was flooded, britishers fooled tundla people promisig of a dam which was never made 1934 ).

The city has several beautiful Jain temples. The Adinath Jain temple is one of the biggest and is located very close to the national highway

22. Pavitra Marrige Home is situated on the N.H.-2, Agra road Tundla which is connected by road from all sides. It has all facilities like staying room along with A.C. This is the best marrige home in Tundla among of all.

Tundla is a small, peaceful town, situated in the heart of Uttar Pradesh. It is basically a small town situated sideways of a five kilometers km stretched road. Unlike big cities, it boasts of its pollution free environment and greenry. Tundla's general population is engaged in small businesses which they operate from shops or their homes.

Its literacy level is better than the states average literacy rate. Although the town has only three old established schools namely

Which have contributed to a great extent in nourishing talent from the town.
Christ the King high school (C.T.K.H.S) is the only convent in the town, which has maintained its respectable position by continuously departing quality education for the past few decades. Students of this institute are at respectable positions in their respective fields. Dr Maneesh Jain, a scientist currently based in USA, studied in this school.ARPIT JAIN , THE GREAT MASTER IN PHYSICS(BATCH 2008)HAS TOPPER THE SCHOOL.
Kendriya Vidyalaya O.E.F.HAZRATPUR is a central government undertaking institute which is situated 6 kilometers km. away from the town on NH2.K.V's dedicated staff has also helped a lot in raising the literacy standards of the town.RAMESHWAR KAMBOJ HIMANSHU (FAMOUS HINDI WRITER)GAVE A NEW SHAPE TO THE VIDYALAYA.
N.R.Inter College is the oldest institute established in the town. It dates back to the British rule. It has been providing quality education to the town from the date when India became a free nation.

Still their remains countless efforts which small schools made to bring talents flow like glowing colours from the town.
