{{unblock|why are you doing this to me, it's not fair that i shouldn't edit just because i tried to put up an article about myself and this Moriori user thinks it shouldn't exist}}

Quit asking to be unblocked. You aren't even providing a valid reason. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 04:45, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

You're nothing but a pest. I will keep changing it back and will ask another "admin" to unblock. -- TummellIl 06:38, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
By all means... But your rampet impostering, sockpuppetry and vandalism on mine and other user pages isn't going to help your case. I am blocking your IP too. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 06:45, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

re:Hey

It seems you were offended by me posting my profile. why are you trying to delete it?

eh? Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. You are not supposed to create articles about yourself, that is what your user page is for! Forbsey 02:51, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
I have moved your profile to your userspace. It is available at User:TummellIl/Bio. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 03:53, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Craig, I don't know how to make this any clearer. You can't have an article about yourself. The type of information you keep putting there is meant for your user page. Academic Challenger 04:12, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Bur a lot people have articles about themselves and i wish to have my own.
Lots of people have articles about themselves who are notable. Take a look at Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Notability (people) for explanations as to why Wikipedia does not allow such articles. ~ PseudoSudo 04:19, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
You were asked nicely to stop. You didn't. It was deleted 5 times. I have protected the page so the article can't be recreated. When you are asked to stop, please do and don't just recreate the page over and over. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 04:24, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Using Wikipedia

Hello! Craig Gibson is not the appropriate spot to post information about yourself, because that's the encyclopedic part of the Wikipedia website. User:TummellIl, however, is all yours to use more or less as you wish. Please see Wikipedia:Introduction and Wikipedia:User page for more information. --ॐ Priyanath 04:16, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

More on Using Wikipedia

A tag has been placed on Craig Gibson, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Craig Gibson is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Craig Gibson. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. -- ॐ Priyanath 04:21, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Regarding your recreation of Craig Gibson ( [1] )

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 04:25, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

What? Why are you blaming me for vandalizing MY OWN page???
No, you kept recreating the page after it had been deleted. You were asked politely to stop and you haven't. That is vandalism. Please stop. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 04:28, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
Vandalism includes the addition of material to the Wikipedia that is in an attempt to reduce the quality of the encyclopedia. This includes intentional recreations of articles that have been deleted for obviously meeting the criteria for speedy deletion. If you wish to contest the article's deletion, use Wikipedia:Deletion review, though you'll need a good reason. -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 04:30, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
Last warning. Please stop or you will be blocked. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 04:31, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Blocked

Once again you have recreated an article about a non notable person who does not merit inclusion in Wikipedia. You were duly warned, so I have blocked you from editing for 24 hours. If on your return you again recreate the article you will again be banned, perhaps indefinitely. The choice is yours. Moriori 04:36, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

I've extended your block for creating an account impersonating Moriori (User:Moriori.). Honestly, the block should be longer, probably indefinitely. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 05:46, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Learn Why You Can't Write Your Own Article

Hi Craig, Only famous or notable people can have articles on Wikipedia. For an article about yourself, use your User:TummellIl page. Learn more about the requirements for a biographical article here: WP:BIO.

To review from that page, you must meet one of the following requirements to have an article about yourself on Wikipedia:

  • Political figures holding international, national or statewide/provincewide office or members of a national, state or provincial legislature.
  • Major local political figures who receive significant press coverage
  • Widely recognized entertainment personalities and opinion makers (ie - Hollywood Walk of Fame)
  • Sportspeople/athletes who have played in a fully professional league, or a competition of equivalent standing in a non-league sport such as swimming, or at the highest level in mainly amateur sports, including college sports in the United States. Articles about first team squad members who have not made a first team appearance may also be appropriate, but only if the individual is at a club of sufficient stature that most members of its squad already have articles.
  • Notable actors and television personalities who have appeared in well-known films or television productions. Notability can be determined by:
    • Multiple features in popular culture publications such as Vogue, GQ, Elle, FHM or national newspapers
    • A large fan base, fan listing or "cult" following
    • An independent biography
    • Name recognition
    • Commercial endorsements
  • Published authors, editors and photographers who received multiple independent reviews of or awards for their work
  • Painters, sculptors, architects, engineers, and other professionals whose work is widely recognized (for better or worse) and likely to become a part of the enduring historical record of that field
  • Persons achieving renown or notoriety for their involvement in newsworthy events
  • The person has been the primary subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the person. (Multiple similar stories describing a single day's news event only count as one coverage.)

ॐ Priyanath 04:34, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Also, please read WP:AUTO. It is unethical to write about yourself on Wikipedia except on your own user page and/or a subpage. 05:15, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

June 2006

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Turtleism. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. NawlinWiki 02:55, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 04:10, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Blocked by user who didn't notifiy me. Block was supposed to last only 36 hours and would like to know what edits warrented the current block"

Decline reason: "block was indefinite since this accounts doesn't seem to be used for anything constructive. e.g. Deleting half an article then tagging db bio, adding votes to rfa's under the name of other users etc. etc. no unblock"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.
