Tumbleweed Tiny House Company
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tumbleweed Tiny House Company is a Sebastopol, California architecture and construction business owned by Jay Shafer, who designs and builds very small houses between 50 and 750 square feet (70 m²) in area.
Shafer builds his smaller designs himself and ships them by truck to consumers. Many of these smaller designs are mobile homes with built-in wheels. For his larger designs, Shafer sells floor plans for on-site construction.
Shafer named his company after the first tiny house he built for himself in 1997.
