Tulsi Samman

The Tulsi Samman is a prestigious arts award presented annually by the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The award is named after Tulsi Das, an Indian saint, poet and philosopher, best known as the author of Rāmacaritamānasa, an epic devoted to Lord Rama.
Tusli Samman is given in the fields of art, theatre, dance, music.

- Nātyāchārya Guru Māni Mādhava Chākyār (1987) - the greatest Kutiyattam maestro and authority of Abhinaya, famous for his Rasa-abhinaya.
- K. Shivaram Karanth - great Kannada writer and Yakshagana artist.
