Tulsa Symphony Orchestra

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Tulsa Symphony Orchestra (TSO) is a professional orchestra based in Tulsa, OK that was founded in 2005. The orchestra was started by a core group of musicians from the former Tulsa Philharmonic which went bankrupt in 2002. [1] TSO recently finished its first concert season to rave reviews. The orchestra is currently performing with Light Opera Oklahoma for their summer season and will begin their second concert series in September 2007. The Tulsa Symphony Orchestra’s mission is "to provide symphonic music of artistic integrity and professional merit to the people of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and its surrounding region." [2]
