Tulluru is a small Town in Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh with a population of about 8000. It is 4 km from Krishna River.

Major crops grown around this region include tobacco, chili, and cotton all are cultivated and paddy, vegetables, Lemon, guvva, coconut, banana etc. Irrigation water is provided through the Rayapudi Lift Irrigation and Tulluru Lift Irrigation Projects.

Telugu is the main language of communication in the Town. One of the earliest/purest forms of Telugu language can be noticed in this region. Other languages such as Hindi and English are also used with in the Town to some extent. Indian Culture is vibrant with many festivals (that are being celebrated for thousands of years), here are some of the festivals that are observed in Tulluru to a great detail: Deepavali, Krishna-Ashtami, Rama Navami, Sankranti, Sivaratri, Ugadi, Vijaya Dasami, Vinayaka-Chaviti along with non-Hindu festivals like Christmas, Eid ul-Fitr, Muharram, Ramadan.
