Tugulusaurus (meaning "Tugulu lizard") is a genus of theropod dinosaur from early Cretaceous Tugulu Formation in the Urhe area of China. Originally classified as a coelurosaur, it is generally considered a nomen dubium: only parts of one skeleton, namely a few tail vertebrae, a right hind leg, two fingers, and some ribs, have been discovered. However, recent research suggests that it is a valid genus of basal coelurosaurian of unknown affinities.[1]
