The Tufted Antshrike (Mackenziaena severa) is a species of bird in the Thamnophilidae family. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and heavily degraded former forest.
