Tubestock
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tubestock is the plural term for young Australian indigenous plants ready for revegetation. Tubestock go through a process which involves a large consumption of water. Plastic tubes about 15cm tall with radius 1.5 cm are tightly filled with native potting mix and a little slow release fertiliser. Local native seeds are preferable for any revegetation, and are sprinkled on top of the soil. Small pebbles are then sprinkled on top and the plants are then watered daily.
