- Charles Daellenbach -- I think being a founding and continuing member of probably the most successful brass quintet in North America (the world?) is pretty damned notable.
- Sam Pilafian -- I see his name a lot, member of Empire Brass according to the liner notes for my "Tuba!" CD.
[edit] More talk about notable tubists
Added Sam Pilafian and Chuck D. Was going to add Jonathan Sass, but I really don't know about him beyond what's mentioned in his w'pedia article, so I dunno. --Rschmertz 05:30, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
The challenge with notable tubists is the link them to other Wikipedia articles, thereby establishing their notability. With a few exceptions, they tend to be in the background of large ensembles, so to get them listed on a page with an orchestra or album credit, all the other parts will have to be listed, too. — WiseKwai 08:57, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
