  • Best OS I've ever met: Windows Vista, and I'm surely not a Microsoft's employee.
  • My best web browser: Firefox, fast and good-lookin'.
  • Best audio player: Of course, if you tried it! It's XMPlay: Lightweight, Small, Free, 32-bit audio quality (if available); support mainly on Tracker Formats but also MP3, WMA and sou much plug-ins (FLAC, AAC, MP4, APE, WV, MIDI,...).
  • Best File-Sharing service: It's MediaFire, upload and download: free and extremely fast, you'll never need to wait from 2 mins to even 2 hours like Stupid-Essential RapidShare~

[edit] November 2006: Wikipedia, the first meet

On that time, I really don't know even there is a free encyclopedia online website like this. On one day in November 2006, I suddenly search Google for some software I like and it pointed me to Wikipedia.

The first meet is so hard, I have a small time that don't like Wikipedia. But after some explores and discoveries, I've found It was the best thing for me: "Interesting Encyclopedia that Everyone can edit!"

I started digging in Wikipedia from that time...

[edit] December 2006 - March 2007: Wonder-world

As I started exploring Wiki, It becoming better and easier for me! I have a first debut at some topics I like that time: Mostly Computing/Technology, Spaces, Entertainment,... So GOOD!!

[edit] March 2007 - December 2007: Hard time

It the time when my Internet was cut off, yeah, introduced that I was in Vietnam and... There is a lot of monopoly here, everything is rich with a poor quality. I can only go to "Coffee Internet" once a week, visit Wiki weekly.

As the Internet coming back. From that time, I'm still dig in Wiki to make it better everyday... I decided changed my page to Tuanese, better reflect me~

As I shown-up my age, it isn't good... Because, I may good-bye Wikipedia, for a more year... Studying hard to decide my life in the future. 12th class is the decision time/year for every student in Vietnam!

I came from Vietnam, we're still "poor by our" and even joined WTO, not such a rich country like another parts of the world. I registered internet connection by VNPT with a low budget, so a large number of people use the same proxy. And then, Wikipedia's Admins block someone, and blocked me? Huh ~ And I just wish that I could be an Administrator to do everything in Wiki freely.

Why need to believe me? - It's only because I'm always say truth from myself, I always want things to be better everyday and make it nearly perfect if possible.

[edit] Windows Vista: Such a worthy OS

Yeah, I must say 5 years of development wasn't suck. Have you ever visit Windows Vista's page and see its criticism page, too? So much to blame about but with me it's easy to solve:

[edit] Chapter 1: Forget It, Easy

  • It has security problem because it only hot and new. (The more user using W. Vista, the more hacker "taking care" of W. Vista Security's problems.
    • Stupid UAC should be turned of at the beginning.
    • You should have a good Security Suite when you're connected to Internet. That's the essential solution. My former nightmare SS is Kaspersky IS, it detects files from in-to-out, viruses must run away from your computer.
  • Windows Vista SP1 makes my graphic display jump from ground to the heaven~ File copy/Booting performance is improved, too.
  • Use Aero drains your battery more, truly!
  • New OS always have the compatibly problem. Windows Vista changed much from Windows XP, so it needs time for software developers to update their program. And now, after year, you can see they fit perfectly...
  • WGA+Pricing=0 if You use pirate Windows Vista (just kidding, but it's right in some ways)

And myself must claim, it has some problem:

  • The biggest problem I met is buy new RAM, is it expensive? I'm using 608 (=128+512-32) MB.
  • It is bloat, really.
  • Windows Ultimate Extras is truly stupid and make-money only from Microsoft. It doesn't make sense else!
  • Finally, If Microsoft removed some announced features of Windows Vista, it is little bad, for me & mostly depend on you.

It combines all the best hopes of Windows XP and features of Windows Vista also with improvement in-mind of Microsoft

  • Improves font anti-alias. I reported this to Windows UX Taskforce.
  • Standard file formats support/Native formats support: SVG, PDF, EPS, AI, PSD, JP2, TGA, PNG (transparent & other 32-bit image files), ZIP (+Unicode), RAR, ACE, 7Z, WIM, TAR,...
