Tsidii Le Loka-Lupindo is a Lesothan singer who is known in America for originating the role of Rafiki in the Broadway production of The Lion King for which she won a Drama Desk Award and was nominated for a Tony Award.
Le Loka's native language is Sesotho; she speaks four languages.[1] Le Loka studied music and economics at University of Massachusetts from 1991 to 1996.[1]
Le Loka played the role of Bloody Mary in South Pacific in 1999.[2]
In a 2004 article in Playbill, Le Loka was mentioned as Tsidii Manye.[3]
