TSI 1 is a general television channel of Radiotelevisione Svizzera di lingua Italiana, broadcasting in Italian for the Italian-speaking area of Switzerland.

In 1961 Televisione svizzera di lingua italiana (TSI) is launched. The channel began colour broadcasting in 1968, this was before the Italian broadcaster, RAI.

With the launch of TSI 2 in 1997, TSI renames itself to TSI 1.
