Hello, Tryptofeng, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy Wiki-ing!

[edit] Image:Seiji Ozawa.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Seiji Ozawa.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Chowbok 02:30, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Superb work on the Chinese film so far Well done! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "I've been expecting you" 20:49, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Just to let you know the entire list of CHinese film A-Z is located at Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/List of films without article/List of missing Chinese Films. Gving a hand I plan to add all these films to the List of Chinese films. I would love to see full complete lists but it will require some work - eevneutally this will be done by country . Feel free to add in some titles. THanks ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you" "SPECTRE" 15:27, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Bloodbrothersposter.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Xin 45207040910293433051250.jpg. The copy called Image:Xin 45207040910293433051250.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 14:00, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hong Kong films

Please can you help add the films and details in Category:Hong Kong films to the lists. It is ridiculous that the lists didn't even have Way of the Dragon or Enter the Dragon. Why has nobody helped them? I've begun gradually adding titles from Z working backwards. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you?" Contribs 11:00, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blood Brothers (2007 film)

Hi Tryptofeng. You are off to such a great start on the article Blood Brothers (2007 film) that it may qualify to appear on Wikipedia's Main Page under the Did you know... section. The Main Page gets about 4,000,000 hits per day and appearing on the Main Page may help bring publicity and assistance to the article. However, there is a five day from article creation window for Did you know... nominations. Before five days pass from the date the article was created and if you haven't already done so, please consider nominating the article to appear on the Main Page by posting a nomination at Did you know suggestions. If you do nominate the article for DYK, please cross out the article name on the "Good" articles proposed by bot list. Also, don't forget to keep checking back at Did you know suggestions for comments regarding your nomination. Again, great job on the article. -- JayHenry 21:30, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use disputed for Image:HappyTimesUSOnesheet.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:HappyTimesUSOnesheet.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:27, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Chen kaige.jpg

Hi. I recently tagged this image since it is a non-free image that is only used to illustrates a living person, and, generally: fair use images of living people that merely show what they look like to be replaceable by free-licensed images and unsuitable for the project. I hope this doesn't discourage you from uploading more suitable images, your contributions to Wikipedia are greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Mtmelendez (Talk|UB|Home) 12:40, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quick request

In the future, if you could use {{Film}} instead of {{FilmsWikiProject}}, I'd be very grateful. Although the latter one automatically redirects to the former, it has been deprecated, and we're trying to phase out its usage as task force tagging slowly occurs over the next year or so. Knowing that it's not being added to new articles would put me greatly at ease. Thanks! Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 04:10, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
